Posted on 15th December 2015

On Saturday, December 12 the Senior Help Line Christmas Carol Choir had its first fund-raising outing on Grafton Street. A loyal and dedicated group braved the dreadful elements as singers and collectors.

We would like to personally thank each one: Mairead Adams, John Casey, Breege Connolly, Sheila Cullen, Frank Cullinane, Ellen Dignam, Stephen & Mary Dollard, Monica Egan, Mairead Flanagan, Anne Healy, Frances Lawlor, Martine Lavery, Eamon Lennon, Joan Lennon, Brendan McCartie, Joanne McGuirk, Edith McKenna and her daughters Rachel and Michelle, Eddie Marron, Philip Murray and Millie, Anne O’Donnell, Joe O’Hanlon, Anne O’Loughlin, Helena Scanlan and her friends – Ray Collins, Enda Hughes, Marie Kearney, Anne O’Regan, Bernie Rowe – John Sheridan, Christine Tiernan, David Tipple, Rose Tobin, Eileen White

We offer a very special thanks to our guest conductor Emma O’Regan, our musician Philip Murray and his dog, Millie (resplendent in festive red coat), to Helena Scanlan for her invaluable help in organising the event, and to Ruth Loughran who helped with our money management on the day.

We also thank those who attended our rehearsals but who were not able to be with us on the day.
