Programme Development

Third Age is dedicated to promoting the value and contribution of older people through its volunteer-led programmes and services.  We see ourselves as a pragmatic ‘can do’ organisation, with a track record of identifying innovative, yet practical solutions to society’s needs. The work of Third Age impacts positively on thousands of older people in Ireland, and we are passionate about continuing and expanding this work through our Programme Development.

We want the organisation to lead out an imaginative and evidence-based response to the changing needs of a growing ageing sector. Our investment in innovation would allow us to continue to expand on our proven record as an innovative organisation in finding new, creative responses to the myriad needs of Ireland’s growing older population, as well as being open to collaboration with key stakeholders, including industry, universities and research bodies.
